Following guidance from the Office of Attending Physician and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Standing Committee of Correspondents has revised its COVID guidance for members of the daily press galleries within the Capitol complex as follows:

• Masks are optional for fully vaccinated members.
• Unvaccinated members should continue to wear masks.
• Masks are required for those who have COVID symptoms and are awaiting test results. If you have COVID symptoms, please stay home and get tested.
• If you test positive, please follow the proper quarantine protocols, which currently require five days of isolation before you return to work if you are asymptomatic. Masks should also be worn for 10 days while indoors after a positive test.
• If you do test positive, please email the gallery staff so we can anonymously track potential exposures.
