The nearest Metro stops are Metro Center (red line) and McPherson Square (orange, blue, and silver lines). Parking is available for a fee in area garages.
The Treasury Library’s collection circulates to affiliates of Treasury’s Departmental Offices. Members of the public are welcome to make an appointment to research using Treasury Library holdings in the Treasury Library. All visitors to the Treasury Library must be cleared by the Secret Service. This process requires that requests for appointments must be made at least one business day before a visit. The one business day requirement is a minimum. It is best to consult with a Treasury librarian well in advance of a visit so that relevant materials may be made available for use.

Partnership with the St. Louis Federal Reserve
The U.S. Department of the Treasury, in partnership with the St. Louis Federal Reserve, has recently digitized 452 volumes of press releases. The volumes consist of approximately 40,000 releases from 1916 to 2009. These documents provide an overview of America’s financial history from World War I to the Financial Crisis of 2007-09. The full FRASER collection for the Treasury includes statements and speeches from Treasury officials, data releases, policy documents, and more. The collection will continue to expand as the FRASER team works to capture “born-digital” Treasury releases from 2009 to the present.
