The Army Corps’ decision to continue discharges as we reach the end of wet season despite achieving their goal to slow the rise on Lake Okeechobee is akin to Lucy pulling the football out from underneath Charlie Brown. We will not continue to tolerate the abuse. It is time to stop these discharges before the Army Corps causes even more long-term, irreversible damage to our estuary!
