Detailed my first-hand experience in 1982 as the target of election fraud and discussed much needed reforms to America’s election system this morning on Newsmax TV’s “Wake Up America.”
America’s election process has systemic weaknesses that too often allow voter fraud and election theft. In my most recent House Floor speech, I share my personal experience as a voter fraud and election theft target when, in 1982, as a Republican candidate for Alabama House District 18, Democrats sought to steal the election by rigging voting machines.
Communist China is America’s geopolitical foe. Communist China unleashed a deadly virus on the world then lied about it. Communist China tries to undermine America at every turn and has a long history of stealing America’s intellectual property. America should make it as difficult as possible for Communist China to work against us and steal from us. I’ve cosponsored the “Stop China’s IP Theft Act” to ban U.S. issuance of entry visas for Chinese government officials, active duty members of the Chinese military, and senior members of the Chinese Community Party and their family members.
In case you missed it, in an ill-advised move, Arlington National Cemetery recently cancelled the annual Wreaths Across America event unilaterally. Wreaths Across America consists of volunteers placing a Christmas wreath on the headstones of America’s fallen heroes at Arlington and other cemeteries nationwide. Arlington quickly reversed their decision to cancel the event after public outcry and Pentagon officials raised concerns. Several of my House colleagues and I sent a le...tter to Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy and Arlington National Cemetery Executive Director requesting information on why the decision to cancel Wreaths Across America was made and what will be done to ensure that volunteers are able to freely participate without unnecessary restrictions. After all, socially distant, outdoor activities present an extremely low COVID-19 risk to participants.

I delivered the latest in my House floor speech series on Constitutional and federal statutory law that gives Congress (NOT the Supreme Court) final and total control over who wins, and who loses, presidential elections.
Congratulations to the patriots at Raytheon and the Redstone Arsenal-based Missile Defense Agency! Raytheon developed the SM-3 Block IIA missile that the U.S. Navy used to shoot down a dummy intercontinental ballistic missile in a successful test overseen by the Missile Defense Agency this morning. The successful, first-ever test of its kind demonstrates the viability of a layered missile defense architecture against near-term long-range threats to the U.S. homeland.
I kicked off a House Floor speech series today on election integrity’s importance to a properly functioning republic. The first speech in this series focuses on Congress’s decisive role in determining the outcome of presidential elections. More to come so stay tuned.
I had the honor yesterday of speaking at the Jackson County Veterans Memorial Park dedication. This project took 5 years and more than $600,000 in generous donations. It’s a wonderful park that will serve to honor our local veterans for decades to come.
America wouldn’t be the greatest nation in world history without the sacrifices of our veterans. The freedoms we enjoy, the safety and security we take for granted, we owe to veterans. We pause today to pay tribute to the veterans to whom we owe so much.
I’m saddened by the news that Alabama Republican Party Chief of Staff Harold Sachs died last night. My deepest sympathies are with Harold’s wife, Bonnie, and the entire Sachs family as they grieve the loss of a great man. Harold was a friend and man of integrity. Harold is irreplaceable and will be sorely missed. He was beloved by everyone who knew him.
Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall and I are suing in federal court to stop the inclusion of illegal aliens in the 2020 Census count used to apportion congressional seats and Electoral College electors. Including illegal aliens in the apportionment count shifts power away from low illegal alien population states like Alabama to high illegal alien population sanctuary states like California. I encourage President Trump and Republicans to fight Joe Biden’s unlawful victory claims. When we have a vote on the House floor, there is no way in the world I’m going to be voting to ratify the Electoral College votes from states where I believe that illegal votes have distorted the will of the people in those states who have cast their votes legally.
As a member of the House of Representatives, I’m going to be very hesitant to certify the results of this election if Joe Biden is declared the winner under these circumstances because I lack faith that this was an honest election. It’s lengthy, but listen to my interview on WVNN’s “Afternoon’s with Yaffee and LT” where I explain why.
States run elections. The federal government takes a hands off approach to elections, consistent with federalism, a foundational principle that has contributed to making America the greatest nation in world history. With that said, I urge other states to replicate Alabama’s election model. We require voter ID, have absentee voting with strict deadlines before Election Day (not mail in voting that is rife with fraud), and our election results were tallied quickly. Unlike in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan, the integrity of Alabama’s elections are not in question.
It was great to get to visit with my friend Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall in Montgomery today! Steve does an excellent job for the State of Alabama. He and I discussed our ongoing federal lawsuit opposing including illegal aliens in the 2020 Census apportionment count.
I am adamantly opposed to mail-in voting. It is rife with voter fraud. We’ve got ballots from New Jersey being mailed to Alabama. That’s wrong. Listen to my interview from this morning on WERC’s Alabama Morning News with JT.
