‪Heading to the House floor to support the CARES Act. This bill isn’t perfect but I refuse to allow perfection to be the enemy of what’s necessary to get us through this crisis. Once law, this bipartisan bill will provide critical relief to Ohio families, small businesses and the medical professionals on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak. ‪We are #InThisTogether and must continue to work together until we have defeated this virus.‬

There are no words that accurately express my gratitude and admiration for the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to defend our nation. Each time I walk into my Washington, D.C. office, I see my father’s Purple Heart. I keep it there as a reminder that the freedom and rights we enjoy every day are not free. For all those who have served, know that a grateful nation salutes you - not only on Veterans Day, but every day. We are forever indebted to you. 🇺🇸

This Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funding will help Chagrin Watershed Partners plant 2,620 native trees and shrubs across our communities in Mentor, Richmond Heights, Mayfield Village, Lyndhurst, Cleveland and Rocky River. In total, this project will help intercept 579,012.035 gallons of rainfall yearly in Ohio’s Central Lake Erie Basin watershed 💧
