Researching Photographs of Congress

The House Collection includes thousands of photographs that document the people, events, and spaces of Congress. Many of these images have been digitized and are available on our website. To view photographs of former Members, search or browse in People Search. To view photographs of House spaces, staff, and events, browse or search for photographs in Collections Search.

Reproductions of House Collection images are provided for educational or scholarly purposes. Please refer to our rights and reproductions policy for more information about copyright and how to place a request.
