2019 Congressional Art Competition

Since 1982, Members of the U.S. House of Representatives have hosted the annual Congressional Art Competition, a contest that enables high-school students from across the nation to demonstrate their artistic talents before a global audience.

See this year's winning entries below. This year's National winner was chosen by a panel of judges from the Louisville arts community. The winning National piece will hang in the halls of the U.S. Capitol for one year. This year's Community Choice winner will be chosen via a public vote on Facebook. That winning artist will have the option of displaying their work in Congressman Yarmuth's District Office for as long as one year.
