FULLERTON, CA - Yesterday, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) hosted a Zoom/Facebook Live Town Hall with Mike Daniel, Regional Director, Orange County/Inland Empire Regional SBDC Network, and Chris Lorenzana, Deputy Director, Small Business Administration’s OC/IE District Office. They talked about resources for small businesses affected by the coronavirus, including the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans, and answered questions from constituents. The town hall can be watched here.

“Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from countless 39th District small business owners who need help navigating coronavirus resources. It’s why I hosted this town hall with local representatives from the SBA and SBDC to help answer these pressing questions,” said Rep. Cisneros. “One topic that was consistently brought up was the frustration with banks and the Paycheck Protection Program. I’m working with my colleagues to ensure that all our small businesses get equal access to PPP. As Congress continues to provide relief for our small businesses, I’m committed to ensuring they and our entire community are given the resources and information to get through this crisis.”

Rep. Cisneros created two CA-39 small business resource guides that can be found here: version 1 and version 2. The guides include information on Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loans, Paycheck Protection Program, SBA Express Bridge Loans, national, state, and CA-39 resources, and frequently asked questions.
