Tours & COVID-19

Several tours and public attractions in Washington DC have been impacted by coronavirus, COVID-19. Effective March 12, 2020, in order to protect the health and safety of visitors, Members, and staff, the House and Senate Sergeant at Arms have ordered limited access to the Capitol Building and Visitor Center. The Capitol will be closed to all tours, including Member and staff led tours. Our office is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as developments occur.

All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit the Washington, DC Tourism Information page.
