If you are interested in participating in efforts to help your community during this difficult time, there are a few ways you can lend a hand:

With the cancelation of blood drives and a call for social distancing, blood banks are in great need of blood donations. Eligible and healthy donors are strongly urged to find a local blood bank make an appointment to provide lifesaving blood products to patients.

Food banks also continue to operate during the COVID-19 crisis, and can always use donations and volunteer support. They often have virtual food drives or you can volunteer by registering for a shift.
