Purpose & Mission

Founded on July 23, 2013, the Congressional Valley Fever Task Force consists of a bipartisan group of Members of Congress who are committed to improving awareness, reducing the risk of misdiagnoses, and finding a viable cure.

The Congressional Valley Fever Task Force is a bipartisan Congressional Member Organization dedicated to serving as a platform for developments related to Valley Fever and open policy discussion. In the 115th Congress, the Valley Fever Task Force will explore opportunities and support policy initiatives that significantly reduce the prevalence of Valley Fever.
