My staff and I have appreciated seeing so many of you in Washington this summer. I hope your visits to our nation’s Capitol building were enjoyable and informative. It has been a busy summer for the staff and me, and I’m now looking forward to some time to reconnect with many of you in the Sixth District during the August district work period.
For many families with children out of school, summer is the time for family vacations, and a lot of 6th District families have been making Washington their vacation destination. The staff and I have enjoyed seeing so many folks from the district stopping by my Congressional office to visit and start their Capitol building tours.
I hope you're enjoying the early stages of summer. Summer time means many visitors to our nation's capital from Alabama and the 6th District. If you are planning a trip to Washington, you should call our office to set up a Capitol tour led by one of our staff. I appreciate this opportunity to update you on the work we're doing in Washington.
