Congressman Griffith is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over some of the most important issues facing Virginia’s Ninth District including public health and federal regulations. The Energy and Commerce Committee is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. For the 116th Congress, Congressman Griffith was named to the Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, Subcommittee on Health, and the Subcommittee on Energy.
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy named Congressman Griffith to the select committee on the climate in the 116th Congress.
Congressman Griffith is also a member of the Republican Policy Committee.
