This Congress, the Hispanic Caucus took on the insulin affordability crisis because of the high rates of Type 2 diabetes among Latinos. The CHC met with insulin manufacturers & PBMs and the House passed H.R. 3 to help negotiate insulin prices & other prescription drugs.

As we look to a new Congress, it's clear we cannot let up. We must address the health inequities that make diabetes more prevalent among Latinos & fix the broken insulin pricing system that allowed prices to increase by 300% in the past 10 years alone. #DiabetesAwarenessMonth
