My office is always accepting applications from students interested in interning in my Washington D.C. or my Lake Dallas district office.
District Office Internships
By assisting my district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community.
Applications Deadlines:
Winter Break 2020/2021 internship: Deadline is November 6, 2020
Spring 2021 internship: Deadline is December 4, 2020
Summer 2021 internship: Deadline is April 19, 2021
Fall 2021 internship: Deadline is August 2, 2021

Washington, D.C. Internships
Interns in my Washington office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with my legislative and communications staff. While on Capitol Hill, interns complete a variety of tasks including interacting with constituents, conducting tours of the U.S. Capitol building, researching policy issues, attending briefings, and more.
