Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) will be in Marysville on Wednesday, October 15. He will attend a veterans roundtable to discuss issues affecting current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Rep. Jordan will be available for a question-and-answer session to provide assistance and address complaints. Members of the Union County Veterans Service Commission will also be on hand. Rep. Jordan and his staff have provided Fourth District veterans help with receiving benefits from the Veterans Affairs Department.
Rep. Jordan will also visit Marysville Surgical Center and discuss reimbursements for Medicare and Medicaid, and the implementation and effects of the Affordable Care Act; and the United Way of Union County, where he will tour the Salvation Army’s food bank and discuss disaster preparedness and providing for Union County through the United Way’s efforts. In the afternoon, Rep. Jordan will visit Marysville High School, where he will speak to the Young Conservatives club.
