Message from Troy Balderson on COVID-19

As we monitor and learn more about the coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to ensure that you have the best available information to protect and care for yourself and your loved ones. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) consider the coronavirus to be a serious public health threat.

My office continues to be in communication with federal, state, and local officials regarding the public health response. As your representative, I will provide periodic updates to you as possible. In the meantime, it is important that you are aware of the coronavirus and the efforts necessary to prevent its spread.

Please find the below guidance from CDC, Ohio Department of Health, and other federal agencies, based on the latest information available. I urge you to take precautions to protect yourself and loved ones as we work together to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Please do not hesitate to contact my office with any questions, concerns, or need for assistance.

Sincerely,
Member of Congress

TOUR ADVISORY:

On March 11th, 2020 the Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives announced that tours of the U.S. Capitol building will cease for the duration of March to protect the American public, staff, and Members of Congress from the spread of coronavirus. The White House also announced it will cease tours for the foreseeable future, along with many other attractions around Washington, D.C. Visit our tours webpage for more details. If you have an upcoming tour of the Capitol and/or White House scheduled through my office, someone from my staff will be in touch with you. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to work with you to find an alternate solution. Please visit our tours webpage or contact our office with any questions.
