Johnson voted in favor of a War Powers Resolution to limit President Trump’s military actions regarding Iran.  This resolution reiterates that only Congress can declare war and affirms that Congress has not authorized the use of military force against Iran.  Hence, it states that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran must end.

We had four successful town halls in every county in the Fourth District, and I thank everyone who participated. We had four excellent discussions on the issues of the day. The town halls, which began at the Lou Walker Senior Center in DeKalb County on Aug. 13 concluded at the Newton County Historic Courthouse on Oct. 10.
