To walk away from negotiations is to turn your back on the American people while tens of millions of people struggle to get by on unemployment and major companies begin to lay off and furlough even more hardworking Americans through no fault of their own. This is shameful, and we hope President Trump reverses course quickly and returns to the negotiating table. This time of crisis demands action, not partisan nonsense. Failure to reach a deal is not an option.
