Rep. Yoho Statement on Judge Amy Coney Barrett's Nomination to the Supreme Court

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL) released the following statement on Judge Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court:

“I applaud President Trump’s nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court. She is immensely qualified for the nation’s highest court, and her character and reputation are beyond reproach. Judge Barrett is a conservative and a constitutionalist who is committed to interpreting the law as written. She will not legislate from the bench. Senate Democrats will stop at nothing to tear her down, but I hope we do not repeat the circus of the Kavanaugh confirmation, and she receives a fair Senate confirmation."
