As our nation continues efforts to mitigate both the spread and impact of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, I am committed to providing you with as much information and as many resources as possible to keep your family healthy and secure during, and in the immediate aftermath of this crisis. While I’m working on legislation that will provide resources for families hit by layoffs or other coronavirus-related challenges, I’m also working with state and federal leaders to get New Jersey every tool it needs to see us through this.

New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission expiration dates have been extended for driver's licenses, non-driver IDs, vehicle registrations, inspections and temporary tags
Documents that expired between March 13 and May 31 have been extended to Sept. 30
Documents expiring between June 1 and Aug. 31 have been extended to Dec. 31

Face coverings are now required for all people outdoors when social distancing is not possible.
Exceptions:
children under 2,
those for whom wearing a mask would inhibit health or safety,
when eating/drinking at an outdoor dining establishment.
6/4/2020
On 6/15, non-essential in-person retail can RESTART:
Number of customers in stores must be limited to 50% of approved capacity
Customers and employees must wear face coverings
Areas used by employees must be regularly sanitized
5/22/2020
Governor Murphy lifted the limit on outdoor gatherings from 10 to 25 individuals. Indoor gatherings must remain limited to 10 individuals. Capacity will also be raised to 25 individuals for charter and fishing boats, outdoor batting cages, driving ranges, other outdoor recreational businesses.
Recreational campgrounds - both public and private are allowed to reopen, effective immediately
Social distancing must still be adhered to.
