Nevada’s 1st District

About Las VegasThe First Congressional District of Nevada stretches from McCarran International Airport along the fabulous Strip, through the exciting arts district, to downtown Las Vegas.

Once just a small gambling town in the desert, Las Vegas is now one of the top destinations in the world for business and vacation travel.  Last year, nearly 39 million visitors came to enjoy the city's world class entertainment, culture, and arts.

A variety of cultural heritages and vibrant communities contribute to the city's distinct identity. From the Hispanic Eastside and the Asian Westside, District One is the most diverse district in the state of Nevada. It is home to family owned small businesses, innovative technology companies, and the world’s leaders in hospitality and entertainment.

If it’s happening in Southern Nevada, it is very likely happening in District One. The District stretches from McCarran Airport to Cashman Field. It includes the Hispanic Eastside, the Asian Westside, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, College of Southern Nevada, the Arts District, all of the Strip, and Downtown Las Vegas.

To highlight new and exciting projects and events that epitomize our entrepreneurial spirit, I will use the hashtag #OnlyInDistrict1 on Twitter @RepDinaTitus, and I encourage you to join the conversation.
