Meeting Requests

To submit a meeting request, please send an email to ScanlonPA.Schedule@mail.house.gov for Pennsylvania based requests or ScanlonDC.Schedule@mail.house.gov for DC based requests. Please include the date, time, attendees, and subject of the meeting request in your email.


Presidential Inauguration Ticket Requests
The President and Vice President of the United States will be sworn into office on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The inauguration ceremony, organized by the Joint Congressional Committee Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC),will be held on the west front of the U.S. Capitol.

Historically, the JCCIC provides Members of Congress with a limited number of viewing area tickets to distribute, most of which are for a standing area at, or near, the east end of the National Mall.

Please carefully read and follow the steps below to request tickets to the presidential inauguration ceremony:

- Read the “Preliminary Points”
- Fill out the Presidential Inauguration Ticket Request Form

READ: Preliminary Points:
-The JCCIC will not inform Members of Congress how many viewing area tickets will be provided to each office until a few weeks after the presidential election on November 3, 2020. The
- Office of Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon will not fulfill requests for inauguration tickets until the JCCIC has made its announcements.
 -In the past, the presidential inauguration has attracted large crowds, long lines, and heavy traffic around DC and the Capitol area. Standing areas for the ceremony have typically been very crowded even though they are ticketed. Please also note that
- January in Washington, DC can be very cold, and all viewing areas will be outdoors and standing areas only.
- The JCCIC does not release the tickets to Members of Congress until about a week before the inauguration ceremony. For those who are granted tickets, arrangements must be made to have your tickets picked up before 3:00pm on January 19, 2021
 - Incomplete forms or ticket requests from persons living outside of Pennsylvania's 5th Congressional District, will not be considered.
