Nebraska Breakfast

On Wednesday mornings when both the Senate and House of Representatives are in session, Nebraskans visiting Washington, D.C., are invited to meet with the entire Nebraska delegation. The Nebraska Breakfast is a tradition begun by Senator Hugh Butler in 1943.

Breakfasts begin at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time and are held at the Southside Buffet in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, located at First Street and Constitution Avenue NE, Washington, D.C. Coffee will be served and breakfast (a la carte) is available for purchase.
