Congressional Art Competition

2020 Congressional Art Competition

Submissions for the 2020 Congressional Art Competition have now closed. We look forward to working with students submitting pieces during the annual competition next year.

About the Competition:

In 1982, Congress established an art competition to showcase the talents of our nation’s young artists. Each spring, thousands of high school students from around the country participate for the opportunity to have their work displayed prominently in the tunnels and walkways of the U.S. Capitol Building.

The competition is open to high school students residing or attending school within the Congressional District 6 boundaries.

Students are encouraged to work directly with their high school art teacher regarding art submissions and important dates and deadlines. For any questions or concerns, please call 480-946-2411.
