Health care costs continue to rise in Wisconsin and across the nation, and serious reforms to our broken system are necessary. Patient-centered, market-driven reforms—rather than a complete government takeover—is the only viable pathway toward fixing our nation’s health care system. We must also continue efforts to combat the rising price of prescription drugs. I am committed to efforts that will reform our nation's health care system, ensuring that all Americans have access to quality, affordable care options.
I am also proud to be a leader of efforts to defend the rights of individuals with disabilities. I have fought for equal protections for the disability community in our health care, labor, and education systems because all citizens, regardless of their disabilities, should be able to pursue the American Dream. I will continue working to remove obstacles standing in their way.
