Old Falls Village
Menomonee Falls
This recreation of the original settlement, dated tothe mid 1800s, includes the first schoolhouse, a depot building and an 1856 log cabin. Also hosts Civil War Reenactment encampment.
Waukesha County Museum
Waukesha
Located in the 1893 courthouse (listed on the National Register of Historic Places), the museum houses permanent and changing exhibits of Waukesha, as well as the home to a comprehensive research library and museum store.
Dousman Stage Coach Inn
Brookfield
Built in 1843, the Inn is filled with antiques from 1847-1872. Tours of the historic Dousman Stagecoach Inn from May through October on the first and third Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. On the Dousman Stagecoach Inn tour, visitors will step back in time! They will see beautiful artifacts of historic interest and hear interesting stories about the families who lived at the Inn and the travelers who stayed there.

Lapham Peak State Park: Delafield
45' observation tower, miles of hiking, biking, horseback riding and ski trails.
Minooka Park: Waukesha
Largest park in the Waukesha County Park System with a total of 580 acres. Swimming, hiking, horseback riding, dog exercise area and cross country skiing.
Menomonee Park: Menomonee Falls
Historical background from the stone quarrying period of 1880-1900. Rolling hills also provide challenges to hikers, cross country skiers, and those on snowshoes. Enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, horseback riding, and cross country skiing.
Nashotah Park: Nashotah
443- acre park nestled among rolling hills, woodlands, wetlands and grasslands offering habitat for deer, waterfowl and a variety of songbirds.
Pike Lake State Forest: Hartford
The forest is named after the 446-acre, spring-fed kettle: Pike Lake. Powder Hill, a large glacial kame, provides the opportunity for a great hike and view. Visitors can enjoy camping, swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking, and much more within the forest.
Heritage Trails County Park: Slinger
With 234 acres of rolling Kettle Moraine hills, valleys and meadows, Heritage Trails County Park provides many panoramic views, miles of hiking trails and picnic opportunities.
Lizard Mound County Park: West Bend
This Washington County park features 28 effigy mounds - out of an original 60 - and takes its name from the most outstanding mound: a lizard mound that's hundreds of feet long. This park has one of the largest, most diverse groups of effigy mounds open to the public in Wisconsin. Visitors can take a self-guided, mile-long tour of 26 mounds.
