Veterans History Project

The Veterans History Project was created in 2000 as a part of the American Folk Life Center at the Library of Congress to preserve the personal accounts of veterans while serving in our military. Here is how it works: Once a veteran applies to be a part of the project, the veteran will be contacted by my staff to arrange an interview at a mutually convenient time. The recorded interview is then sent to the Library of Congress to be part of the collection of veterans’ stories, so future generations can go back to see and hear the stories of those who served our nation.

Preserving the stories of our nation’s heroes is an undertaking well worth the effort. Please take time to share your story for generations to come by applying below.
