Internships

Washington, DC

Internships in my Washington, DC and district offices run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. Internship hours are flexible to accommodate students' course schedules, but generally run 9:00 am to 6:00 pm when Congress is in session and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm when not in session.

In Washington, interns will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including answering phones, researching legislation for the Member and legislative staff, attending virtual hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters. Through this program, interns will learn about the legislative process and other functions of a Congressional office. Until further notice, all Washington, DC internships will be remote.
