Veterans

Our nation has no greater responsibility than providing for our national defense and taking care of the men and women who sacrificed everything for our freedom. I will always do my best to ensure that our veterans get the care that they’ve earned through blood, sweat and love of country.

I am dedicated to working with my colleagues in Congress to pass meaningful reforms to expand access to care at the VA while enhancing choice and flexibility in healthcare benefits.

My commitment to my fellow veterans is strong. This is why we led the successful passage of legislation to help victims’ families of the 1983 Beirut Bombing terrorist attack collect financial judgements against Iran.
