An important aspect of 21st century infrastructure is broadband, which is why I support the effort to increase rural broadband support, to ensure communities across the 6th District have access to the internet and broadband services.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (IN-06) today announced that Decatur County REMC is receiving a $6,500,000 loan to maintain or upgrade 101 miles of rural electric infrastructure in southeastern Indiana. Decatur County REMC, headquartered in Greensburg, Indiana, serves 7,995 Hoosiers with over 1,058 miles of line in Bartholomew, Decatur, Franklin, Jennings, Ripley, and Rush counties.
