Armed Services Committee
Rep. Khanna is a member of the House Armed Services Committee. The committee oversees all laws pertaining to the United States military and exercises oversight on the annual national defense budget, commonly referred to as the NDAA. Rep. Khanna is also a member the Readiness and Strategic Forces subcommittees.
Budget Committee
Rep. Khanna is a member of the House Budget Committee. The committee drafts the annual budget resolution that sets the levels of revenue and spending expected in each fiscal year.
Oversight Committee
Rep. Khanna is a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. The committee is the primary investigative committee in Congress. It has authority to investigate the subjects within the Committee’s legislative jurisdiction as well as "any matter" within the jurisdiction of the other standing House Committees.
