Former Congressman Scott Garrett will testify before the Senate Banking Committee today regarding his nomination by President Donald Trump to serve as president of the Export-Import Bank. Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) released the following statement in advance of the hearing:
“The Export-Import Bank is a scandal-plagued institution in dire need of reform. Scott Garrett is a wise choice and will bring common-sense changes to the way the Ex-Im Bank is run. I’m glad the Senate has now started the confirmation process.”
