Rep. Cisneros Finishes 12 “Cisneros In Your City” Town Halls

FULLERTON, CA - Today, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) finished his “Cisneros In Your City” series where he hosted 12 virtual town halls in cities across the 39th District. Over the past two weeks, Rep. Cisneros spoke to over 500 CA-39 residents about the federal government’s coronavirus response, updates on the community, and answered questions. Rep. Cisneros addressed an array of topics including testing, California’s reopening phases, federal legislation, public safety, schools, and the future of the district.

“I’m grateful to all the 39th District residents who joined my ‘Cisneros In Your City’ Town Hall series over the last two weeks. It’s so important for elected members to listen to their constituents and provide them with the forum to speak their mind, ask questions, and get information,” said Rep. Cisneros. “From my first day in Congress and especially during this difficult time, it’s been a priority for me to be as accessible and open as possible. While this crisis has changed the way we work, my commitment to my constituents remains the same.”

To date, Rep. Cisneros has hosted 16 coronavirus town halls, including 12 “Cisneros In Your City” Town Halls, an AAPI Resources and Combatting Anti-AAPI Hate Town Hall, a Coronaviurs Telephone Town Hall, a Small Business Town Hall with SBA and SBDC Representatives, and a Coronavirus Town Hall with St. Jude Doctors.
