Working Hard to Rebuild our National Security, Improve Economic Opportunity & Protect our Constitutional Liberties

Internships

Both my Washington, D.C., and District Offices are always accepting resumes from college students interested in interning. Internships run throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters.

Interns in the Washington office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with the legislative, communications and constituent services staff members. By assisting the Congressman’s district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the community.

All internships are unpaid and candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office may be responsible for paying their travel and living expenses. However, interns in any office can arrange to receive academic credit for their work.

If you are interested in serving as an intern in the Office of Congressman Bill Flores, please email Rachel.Leong@mail.house.gov to receive an internship application. Application deadlines and other requirements vary, please contact my office for additional details.
