House Committee on Homeland Security
The Homeland Security Committee focuses on legislation and oversight related to the security of the United States and the department that oversees those efforts, the Department of Homeland Security. The jurisdiction of the committee is wide, covering emergency preparedness, disaster response, port security, infrastructure, border security and cyber security.
