ICYMI: Rep. Cisneros Hosts Coronavirus Facebook Town Hall with St. Jude Doctors

FULLERTON, CA - Yesterday, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) hosted a Facebook Live Town Hall with Dr. Sajen Mathew and Dr. Claudia Skinner of St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton to talk about the coronavirus, federal government efforts to combat the crisis, community updates and resources, and answer questions from constituents. You can watch the town hall here. 

“After receiving a surge of calls, emails, and concerns from my constituents about the coronavirus over the last few weeks, I decided to host a Facebook Live Town Hall with the best doctors from St. Jude Medical Center to help explain our public health crisis and answer pressing questions. It’s important that we stay informed about the coronavirus, and I’m committed to sharing every resource and update to help the 39th District through this challenging time,” said Rep. Cisneros. “I couldn’t be more grateful to have done this town hall with Dr. Sajen Mathew and Dr. Claudia Skinner, who provided a wealth of information and insight on the coronavirus. I want to thank them and all our healthcare professionals who are on the frontlines keeping our community safe and healthy.”

Sajen Mathews, MD is the Chief Medical Officer, and Claudia Skinner, DNP, RN, CIC is the Director of Infections and PRevention at St. Jude Medical Center. Throughout the nearly hour-long virtual town hall, Rep. Cisneros, Dr. Mathews, and Dr. Skinner answered questions collected from residents in California’s 39th District and straight from the Facebook Live’s comments section.
