This marks Rep. Cisneros’ 22nd town hall on the coronavirus

FULLERTON, CA - Yesterday, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) hosted his 30th town hall for the 39th District. This “Cisneros In Your District” virtual town hall also marked his 22nd town hall focused on the coronavirus. He spoke to over 75 CA-39 District residents about the federal government’s coronavirus response, updates on the community, and answered questions live from constituents. He addressed a variety of topics, including the coronavirus vaccine, relief legislation, access to PPE, testing, and city funding.

“I’m proud that we hosted our 30th town hall last night, and I’m grateful for all the 39th District residents who attended virtually. Since my first day in Congress, I’ve been committed to being open, accessible, and transparent with all my constituents,” said Rep. Cisneros. “From our conversations last night and answering questions live, I know there are still a lot of concerns about the safety and health of our community. Every day, I’m fighting to bring back the relief, funding for testing and cities, and PPE that the 39th District needs.”

Since the start of this pandemic, Rep. Cisneros has hosted 22 coronavirus town halls, including two “Cisneros In Your County” Town Halls, a Census and Voting Town Hall, a Health and Small Business COVID-19 Town Hall, a COVID-19 Impact Resources and the Latino Community Town Hall, 12 “Cisneros In Your City” Town Halls, an AAPI Resources and Combating Anti-AAPI Hate Town Hall, a Coronavirus Telephone Town Hall, a Small Business Town Hall with SBA and SBDC Representatives, and a Coronavirus Town Hall with St. Jude Doctors.
