Dear Friend,
After years of federal, state, and local efforts to rebuild, unemployment across Indiana is at its lowest level in nearly two decades. But despite this good news, we cannot rest. Many people are still pursuing better pay, greater stability, and stronger career prospects. Whether people are unemployed and looking for a job or are hoping to find a better one, now is the time to keep up the momentum.
That why I’m proud to be hosting my Central Indiana Job Fair. For the past nine years, I have worked in conjunction with Ivy Tech to help connect Hoosiers searching for jobs with companies who are looking to hire.
If you're in the market for a new job or could use some help preparing your resume, then I hope you will join me on Wednesday, August 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ivy Tech Corporate College & Culinary Center (2820 N. Meridian Street).
