Grants
My office offers assistance with using Federal databases to research grants and funding, job fair opportunities, community partnerships, and business summits. The yearly grant workshop is organized to help localities, small businesses, and non-profit leaders successfully secure grants and loans. Among the many benefits, attendees are able to build partnerships across industries to help expand their enterprises. The "Taking Care of Business" Summit is another initiative Congressman Butterfield helps sponsor to give North Carolina's business leaders the opportunity to meet with the Federal Government officials to discuss policies that may affect their livelihoods and communities.

Grant applications must meet the requirements for the programs and foundations. It is the responsibility of the applicant to write the grant, meet the grants proposal deadlines and provide the necessary documents for the application. The office can help you by helping you research grant opportunities, and on a case-by-case basis, Congressman Butterfield can write a letter of support to an agency. A letter of support does not guarantee grant approval. To request a letter of support, please contact our Wilson Office at: (252) 237-9816. |
