Paid Internships

Thank you for your interest in an internship with Congressman Beyer’s office. Interns will experience the legislative process and the operations of the Congressman’s Washington, DC office by working with staff on issues and interacting with constituents. Each intern works on a variety of tasks, including conducting legislative research, assisting with correspondence, attending hearings and briefings, giving Capitol tours, and performing general administrative duties.

We are currently evaluating applications for our 2021 Spring Internship Program, which will last from the beginning of January to the end of April 2021 (exact dates are flexible). Only applications sent in by December 1st will be considered. No phone calls or walk-ins, please. Priority will be given to applicants from Virginia's 8th Congressional District.
