Los Angeles City Council: a 15-member governing body of the city of Los Angeles. Each member represents ~255,000 Angelenos. Members are elected by voters in their respective districts and are limited to two four-year terms.

Culver City Council: a five-member governing body of Culver City. Members are elected by Culver City's ~40,000 voters. They choose a Mayor and Vice Mayor to serve in those positions for a period of one year.

State Senate: a 40-member legislative body with each member representing 931,349 Californians. Members are elected by voters in their respective districts and are limited to two four-year terms.

State Assembly: a 80-member legislative body with each member representing ~465,000 Californians. Members are elected by voters in their respective districts and are limited to three two-year terms.
