The Los Angeles Office is where the Member’s Field Representatives and Constituent Service Staff are located. Field Representatives are responsible for meeting with constituents, district stakeholders, and other groups to keep the Member abreast of issues arising in the 37th District. Constituent Service Staff help members of the community with federal agencies, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs and U.S. Customs and Immigration Services. The Washington, DC Office is where the Member’s Legislative, Administrative, and Communications staff are located. Legislative staff are responsible for advising Rep. Bass on federal legislative issues. Communications Staff are responsible for building and maintaining open and effective lines of communication between the Member, her constituency, and the general public. Administrative Staff are responsible for maintaining Rep. Bass’ schedule and organizing tours for constituents visiting the Nation’s Capital.
