Tour Protocol During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The White House will resume tours on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Tours will be hosted two days a week instead of five, on Friday and Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tour capacity has been reduced to 18% from its normal limit. Additionally, tours to US Supreme Court, US Capitol, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, State Department, FBI, National Archives are still temporarily unavailable. However, the Smithsonian's National Zoo and the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia, are open to the public. Free, timed-entry passes are required for entry. All other Smithsonian museums remain temporarily closed. Outdoor gardens are now open as well.
