Internships

An internship with the Commerce, Science, & Transportation Committee offers an opportunity for college and graduate students to gain first-had experience working on a variety of issues and to learn about the legislative process.  The position requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

The fall program is from September to December and the spring program is from January to May. The summer program is divided into two sessions: mid-May to the beginning of July, and the beginning of July to the middle of August.

All intern candidates need to fill out the intern application. All applications must include a resume, interest statement, and three (3) letters of reference. Applications need to be returned to my Washington, D.C., office.  Please refer to the intern application for information on deadlines.
