• Stefanik Receives Friend of Farm Bureau Award

    Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has received the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF)’s “Friend of Farm Bureau” award recognizing her efforts and advocacy on behalf of farmers. The American Farm Bureau Federation gives the award to members of Congress who were nominated by their respective state Farm Bureaus and approved by the AFBF Board of Directors.
  • Potsdam, Whitehall receive more than $5 million to overhaul water, sewer systems

    Two St. Lawrence County municipalities received more than $5 million in combined grant funding from the USDA to support their water and sewer systems. The village of Potsdam received a $1,895,000 grant to renovate its water tank and provide clean water to residents. The town of Whitehall received $3,760,000 to renovate its sewer system and prevent large amounts of storm water from entering the sanitary sewers.

  • News 10: Stefanik presents Congressional Record commending Glens Falls Hospital

    NY-21 Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, R-Schuylerville, paid a visit to her district Monday at Glens Falls Hospital, to hold a presentation commending the hospital’s work through the COVID-19 pandemic. Stefanik presented hospital president Dianne Shugrue and board chairman Bill Powers with a Congressional Record, following her work supporting the hospital in its search for federal funding to keep things going through the coronavirus pandemic. The total is over $44 million in federal funding, which is split between medicare advance payments, the provider relief fund, and rural pool funding.
