  • Latino Museum Bill Sponsored by Serrano Approved in the House

    The the National Museum of the American Latino Act (H.R.2420), sponsored by Congressman Serrano, has reached an important milestone. After passing in the House, it now heads to the Senate for consideration. H.R. 2420 builds on nearly 20 years of work by advocates and members of Congress that laid the foundation for the creation of a Smithsonian national museum to celebrate the history of American Latinos.
