Aguilar Issues Statement After Being Elected Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus

Aguilar Announces $762,657 for Inland Empire Public Safety
Rep. Pete Aguilar announced $762,657 for Inland Empire law enforcement agencies. The funding comes from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) and is a combination of new funding for 2020 and funding from 2017-2019 that the Trump Administration had previously withheld from the region. The grants will be received by cities throughout the 31st District in the following amounts:

Aguilar Announces $8.5 Million for Inland Empire Housing and COVID-19 Prevention
Rep. Pete Aguilar announced that the County of San Bernardino has received $8.5 million in Emergency Service Grant (ESG) funding to help provide homeless residents of the county with housing during the COVID-19 crisis. The funding comes from the CARES Act, and was disbursed by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help fund Project Room Key, a county-wide initiative to help the homeless find temporary transitional housing.
