WASHINGTON –  Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a continuing resolution to fund the government through February 8, 2019, with a critical amendment adding $5.7 billion for border security. The amended continuing resolution passed the House and heads to the Senate for final confirmation.

Commitment to Civility

A bipartisan group of leaders in 115th U.S. Congress released a document entitled the "Commitment to Civility," authored by Rep. Johnson, memorializing their agreement to restore collegiality, trust and civility to the Congress.

To date, nearly 150 leaders, from both sides of the aisle, have signed the pledge, and it is now being adopted by other governmental bodies nationwide.
