World War II veteran Andrew J. Dodges reached out to Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) in late November with a Christmas wish: to receive a new set of the military service medals he earned while serving in the United States Army.  Corporal Dodges’ medals, including a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, were stolen from his home.

Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) announced the passage of S.2076, the BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act, in the House of Representatives on Wednesday by a vote of 361-3. Higgins is a Cosponsor of the House version of the bill. The BOLD Act had previously passed the Senate by voice vote on December 12th.
